Where Grace Became Action

Grace in Action Serving Hearts was born from something simple but powerful: a desire to help others and make a difference in the lives of people who may be going through difficult times.

​

The heart behind this organization comes from the belief that sometimes the smallest act of kindness can bring hope to someone who needs it most. A meal, a helping hand, an encouraging word, a donation, or simply letting someone know they are not alone can make a lasting impact.

​

As the founder, Deidra Curry, I believe we are called to serve others with love, compassion, and grace. I wanted to create something that would not only help people during times of need but also remind them that they matter.

Inspired by Two Special Hearts

Grace in Action Serving Hearts is inspired by the hearts of my grandchildren, Josiah and DéVeah.

​

Their hearts represent innocence, compassion, love, and generosity. They remind me that giving does not have to be complicated. It can begin with caring about another person and choosing to do something about it.

​

Their influence inspired a mission that can grow beyond our family and reach individuals, families, and communities who need encouragement and support.

More Than Giving

Grace in Action Serving Hearts is about more than collecting donations. It is about serving people with dignity, creating opportunities to help, and showing grace through action.

Our hope is to support people facing difficult circumstances, provide resources when possible, encourage acts of kindness, and build a community where people help one another. We may not be able to solve every problem, but we can make a difference in someone's day, family, or life.

We believe that when grace moves from the heart into action, lives can be changed.

Every volunteer, donor, supporter, and person who chooses to serve becomes part of our story. Whether someone gives their time, resources, talents, or simply shares our mission, they help continue the work.
